Machines with Electrical Power
Before you lower any equipment with the engine stopped, clear the area around the equipment of all personnel.
- Turn ignition key (1) to the ON position.

- Pull up the switch of hydraulic lockout (4) on the implement console in order to activate the NOT LOCKED OUT implement function.

Lowering the hook |
- Depress dead engine lower switch (5) on the rear face of the implement console and HOLD the switch.
- Operate hook control lever (2) in order to lower the hook load line first.
Note: When you perform a dead engine lower, do not put the lever into the notch for free travel in order to lower the hook load line. Damage to the winch may occur.
Note: Do not exceed a 15 minute period of continuous use in order to lower the hook load line.
- After the hook load line is lowered, release dead engine lower switch (5) and hook control lever (2) .
- Then, depress dead engine lower switch (5) and operate boom control lever (3) in order to lower the boom.
Note: Do not exceed a 15 minute period of continuous use in order to lower the boom.
- After the boom is lowered, release dead engine lower switch (5) and boom control lever (2) .
Machines without Electrical Power
Note: A mechanical procedure is not available.
You must jump start the down machine in order to provide electrical power to the hydraulic system.
With electrical power to the machine, the operator then follows the instruction of "Machines with Electrical Power".
