Note: Adjust the plate (5) in order to allow full spool travel and compress the spring damper (11) to a maximum of 2 mm (0.1 inch).
(1) Position the bottom cover so that the neutralizer switch is 12 ± 5 degrees from the centerline of the cab.
(2) Torque for two screws ... 1.50 ± 0.25 N·m (13 ± 2 lb in)
(3) Torque for the jam nut ... 40 ± 5 N·m (30 ± 4 lb ft)
(4) Apply 157-7228 Adhesive in the groove of the bottom cover.
(6) As required, use 1K-0502 Washer in order to allow a maximum gap of 1.2 mm (0.05 inch):
- Quantity ... 7
- Thickness of one washer ... 1.2 mm (0.05 inch)
(7) Torque for eight nuts ... 20 ± 5 N·m (15 ± 4 lb ft)
(8) Torque for two locknuts ... 25 ± 5 N·m (18 ± 4 lb ft)
(9) Torque for two locknuts ... 30 ± 7 N·m (22 ± 5 lb ft)
(10) Torque for two screws ... 30 ± 7 N·m (22 ± 5 lb ft)
