The Configuration for the Machine Electronic Control Module Has Changed {7610}

Usage:

TH580B SLH
Telehandler:
TH580B (S/N: SLH1-515)

Reference: Testing and Adjusting, RENR5195, "Electronic Control Module (ECM) - Configure"

The configuration for the machine electronic control module has changed. From the start of production, a software program was enabled. When the machine was in the REVERSE gear, the program prevented the operator from activating the TELESCOPE OUT function of the boom. When you place the machine in the reverse gear, this program prevents cavitation in the telescoping cylinder.

In production, this software program is now disabled. You can extend the boom when the machine is in reverse gear. The change became effective in production with the machine SLH516-UP.

You can disable the software program on machines (S/N: SLH1-515). To disable the software program that prevents the telescoping cylinder from voiding, refer to Testing and Adjusting, RENR5195, "Electronic Control Module (ECM) - Configure". Refer to the "Boom Telescope Extend While Machine In Reverse Enable Status" line in the "Configure Group 1" heading. Change the value to "Disable".
