Removal Procedure (Front Crankcase Guard)

1. Position Tooling (A) under guard assembly (1). The weight of guard assembly (1) is approximately 102 kg (225 lb).

2. Remove bolt (2). Repeat for the opposite side. Lower guard assembly (1) .

3. Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to guard assembly (1). Remove pin (3). Repeat for the opposite side.

4. Remove guard assembly (1) .

Removal Procedure (Rear Crankcase Guard)

Note: The rear crankcase guard can only be removed if the front crankcase guard has been removed or lowered.

1. Position Tooling (A) under guard assembly (4). The weight of guard assembly (4) is approximately 73 kg (160 lb).

2. Remove four bolts (5) and remove guard assembly (4) .

1. Attach Tooling (B) and a suitable lifting device to guard assembly (1) and position guard assembly (1). The weight of guard assembly (1) is approximately 102 kg (225 lb). Install pin (3). Repeat for the opposite side.

2. Position Tooling (A) under guard assembly (1) and raise guard assembly (1) .

3. Install bolt (2) to guard assembly (1). Repeat for the opposite side.
