A new fuel shield is available for 3500 Diesel Engines. The fuel shield meets the regulations established by the International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS). The new fuel shield can be used on the fuel lines from the fuel manifold to each cylinder head. Refer to Illustration 1.
