The parking brakes are located on the drum propel motors on the CB-334E. The parking brakes are located on the propel motors on the CB-335E .
To release the parking brake manually, perform the following procedure:
- In order to prevent the machine from moving, block the drum and block the tires securely.
- Remove bolts (1) and bolts (2).
Note: The arrows that are recessed in the motor housing indicate the correct bolts.

- Move release latch (4) for the rear lid upward. Hold the release latch for the rear lid in the upward position. Pull handle (3) toward the rear of the machine. Pull handle (3) upward in order to open the rear access lid.

- Remove brake release bolts (5) for the drum propel motor. Release tire brake release bolts (6). The tire brake release bolts are on the CB-335E machine.

- Assemble the brake release bolts (5) for the drum propel motor in the holes for bolts (1) and bolts (2). Torque the brake release bolts (5) until the brake is released.
Note: For the CB-334E, repeat step (1) and step (4). You should perform this operation in order to release the brakes manually on the drum propel motor in the rear.
To release the parking brake manually on the rear of the propel motors for the CB-335E, perform the following procedure:
- Access the rear propel motors.

- Remove plug (7) .

- Assemble brake release bolts (6) for the tire propel motor in the hole for plug (7) .
- Tighten brake release bolts (6) until the brake is released.
