Description of Change: New guards that protect the aftercooler temperature sensor have been released.
The new guards will help protect the sensor from damage. The new guards provide a location for securing the lifting eye. The guards also secure the breakout for the wiring harness to the sensor.
Adaptable To: The former 217-6982 Bracket As is replaced by the brackets that are listed in Table 1.
The new guards are adaptable back to first production.
The new guards are effective with the engine serial number 3TN00586-UP.
