曲轴箱减震器可以从发动机室的右侧看到。
减振器损坏或减振器有故障会增大扭转振动。 这种振动会损坏曲轴和发动机其他部件。 损坏的减振器会在发动机的转速范围内的不同点引起齿轮系噪声过大。
如有下列任一原因，卡特彼勒建议更换减振器。
- 发动机曾发生因曲轴断裂而引起的故障。
- S·O·S 分析查出曲轴前轴承磨损。
- S·O·S 分析查出不是由于缺油引起的齿轮系大量的磨损。
如果没有发现上述情况或减震器没有损坏，继续使用曲轴减震器。
