Description of Change: New lamp groups with improved service life are now used.

Adaptable To: The new 236-3988 Signal Lamp and the new 236-3989 Signal Lamp are a direct replacement for the former 161-4016 Rear Lamp Gp. The new 236-3988 Signal Lamp and the new 236-3989 Signal Lamp are also a direct replacement for the former 180-9926 Rear Lamp Gp .

The new lamps are effective with the following machines:

• 776D (S/N: AFS200-UP)

• 777D (S/N: AGC1479-UP)

• 777D HAA (S/N: AGY200-UP)

The new lamps are adaptable to the following machines:

• 769D (S/N: BBB1-UP)

• 771D (S/N: BCA1-UP)

• 773D (S/N: 7CS1-UP)

• 773E (S/N: BDA1-UP)

• 775D (S/N: 8AS1-UP)

• 775E (S/N: BEC1-UP)

• 776D (S/N: AFS1-199)

• 777D (S/N: AGC1-1478)

• 777D HAA (S/N: AGY1-199)

Each of the two lamp groups is serviced by the components of that group. Refer to the information that follows for lists of the required parts.

Note: The current 123-6449 Alarm Gp is mounted externally to the signal lamps. The new 236-3988 Signal Lamp contains a new 213-9100 Backup Alarm As. See Table 1. The new 236-3988 Signal Lamp is installed on the left hand side of the vehicle. Before the 236-3988 Signal Lamp is installed, the old 123-6449 Alarm Gp should be removed.
