Engine and Torque Converter - Install
Installation Procedure
- Attach a suitable lifting device to the lifting brackets on the engine.

- Use a suitable lifting device in order to install engine (58) and the torque converter. The weight of the engine and the torque converter is approximately 590 kg (1300 lb).

- Rotate the transmission shaft until the transmission shaft engages the torque converter. Do not force the transmission shaft into the torque converter.
- Install bolts (56). Bolts (56) secure the torque converter housing to the engine.

- Install front mounting bolt (57) .

- Repeat Step 5 for the opposite side.
- Connect fuel hoses (55). Tighten clamps (54) .

- Install clip (52) onto tube (53). Install bolt (51) .

- Place bracket (50) into position on valve cover (48). Install bolts (49) .

- Connect engine throttle cable (47) .

- Position hose assemblies (44). Secure hose assemblies (44) with bolt (43) .

- Connect harness assembly (45). Secure harness assembly (45) with cable strap (46) .
- Position air cleaner (42) on the engine. Install bolts (41) .

- Install hose assemblies (40) into position. Install clip (39) and bolt (38). Install hose (37) .
- Install hoses (35) and (32). Tighten hose clamps (33). Open valve (34) .

- Position cable assemblies (31). Install nut (30) .

- Install cable assemblies (29) onto electric starting motor (28). Install nut (27) .

- Connect harness assembly (25). Install cable strap (26). Connect wire (24) .

- Install bracket (23). Install clip (21) and bolt (22) .

- Move wire (17) into position. Connect wire (17). Install nut (16) .

Note: Replace the gasket.

- Connect harness assembly (12). Connect wire (9). Install nut (10). Install cable strap (11) .

- Install floorplate (5). Install bolts (4) .

- Install the drive shaft (front). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Drive Shaft (front) - Install ".
- Install the radiator, refrigerant condenser, and hydraulic oil cooler. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Radiator, Refrigerant Condenser, and Hydraulic Oil Cooler - Install ".
