1. Thoroughly clean the mating surfaces of the swing drive housing and the main frame.

2. Apply Tooling (B) to the bore and to the locating pin in the main frame.

3. Apply Tooling (C) on the mating surface of the main frame and the swing drive housing.

   Note: The locating pin for the swing drive can come out of the swing drive housing during the installation of the swing drive.

4. Attach a suitable lifting device with Tooling (A), as shown. Install the swing drive and the swing motor.

   Note: The swing motor will be installed with the swing drive.

5. Install the swing drive in the swing drive's original position in the main frame. The weight of the swing drive with the swing motor is approximately 590 kg (1295 lb). Connect hose assemblies (7) and (8) .

   Note: If the locating pin in the swing drive comes out of the swing drive housing during installation, the locating pin can be reinstalled with a hammer after the swing drive is in place.

6. Install new mounting bolts (11). Use Tooling (D) in order to tighten bolts (11) to a torque of 900 ± 100 N·m (664 ± 74 lb ft).

7. Install bracket (10). Install bolts (9) . Install hose assembly (12) .

8. Connect hose assemblies (5) and (6). Connect hose assemblies (2) and (4) onto tee (3).

9. Install hose assemblies (1) onto the main hydraulic control valve.

10. Fill the hydraulic oil system.
