Removal Procedure
Start By:
- Remove the propel pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Piston Pump (Axle Propel and Drum Propel) - Remove".
Accidental machine starting can cause injury or death to personnel working on the machine. To avoid accidental machine starting, turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position and remove the key. If the machine is not equipped with a battery disconnect switch, disconnect the battery cables from the battery and tape the battery clamps. Place a do not operate tag at the battery disconnect switch location to inform personnel that the machine is being worked on. |

Note: Illustrations do not include the engine. Removal of the engine is not necessary in order to service the pump drive.
- Remove bolts (1) and adapter (2) from the flywheel housing.

- Remove bolts (3) and remove flange (4) from the flywheel.

Installation Procedure

- Position flange (4) on the flywheel. Apply Tooling (A) to bolts (3) and install the bolts.

- Position adapter (2) on the flywheel housing and install bolts (1) .
