Service Magazine SEPD0778, 04 April 2005, "New Cast Wheels Are Used for Improved Service Life". The guard for the air lines group has changed. Replace the article with the following information.

Description of Change: New cast wheels replace the existing cast wheels.

Note: New 227-5875 Ejectors must be used with the new wheels.

Note: The bearing setting procedure for the field has not changed.

Adaptable To: The new 214-1644 Wheel replaces the former 142-5946 Wheel. The new 214-1644 Wheel is effective with the following machines:

• 789C (S/N: 2BW612-UP)

The new 214-1644 Wheel is adaptable to the following machines:

• 789 (S/N: 9ZC1-UP)

• 789B (S/N: 7EK1-UP)

• 789C (S/N: 2BW1-611)

Refer to the following illustrations and the following table for a list of parts that are needed to adapt the new wheel to the earlier machines.
