PS-150C Paving Compactor Caterpillar


Ballast - Remove/Install

Usage:

Drain for liquid ballast

  • Remove the drain plug in order to drain the liquid ballast. After draining, install the drain plug.

  • Remove the outlet cover on the right side of the machine in order to remove a solid ballast.

  • Remove the four platform covers.

  • Use a shovel or use a water hose in order to clean the solid ballast through the outlet opening of the ballast compartment.

  • Install the outlet cover.

  • Install the solid or liquid ballast in the ballast compartments in order to maintain proper balance of the machine.

  • Install the platform covers.
