制动器释放油缸位于机器后部。
制动器释放系统通过两种方法启用：固定在抢修机器上的抢修杆或固定在停用机器抢修钩上的牵引索。 两种方法均能对制动器释放油缸中的活塞施加外力。

油从液压油箱回油系统输送到制动器释放系统。 这部分油经过端口 (6) 和油道 (4) 流入腔室 (2)。 施加在活塞杆 (7) 上的外力将启用制动器释放系统。 从而使活塞杆 (7) 克服弹簧 (1) 移动。 密封件 (5) 移过油道 (4) 时，腔室 (2) 中的油通过端口 (3) 被推压至停车制动器。
消除活塞杆 (7) 上的外力时，弹簧 (1) 将向下移动活塞杆 (7)。 油从停车制动器经端口 (3) 回流至腔室 (2)。
