Reference: Refer to Specifications, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating R-134a All Caterpillar Machines", "Refrigerant Compressor" for the correct belt tension for the refrigerant compressor.
Description of Change: The new idler pulley will allow increased misalignment of the belt and pulley. The new idler pulley will also reduce wear on the edges of the belt.
Adaptable To: The 147-0782 Idler Pulley is being replaced by a 189-2207 Idler Pulley and 236-9911 Bracket in the 129-9491 Refrigerant Compressor Gp. The assembled 189-2207 Idler Pulley and 236-9911 Bracket will be installed in the same location and orientation as the former 147-0782 Idler Pulley as shown in Illustration 1.
