Description of Change: An improved transmission electronic control group is now available that has the following changes:
- The shift handle diagnostics have been corrected to address the logging of invalid CID 0668 shifter service codes.
- The shift logic has been changed to correctly perform speed shifts from 2nd gear, or 3rd gear to 2nd gear, following a directional shift while in auto mode.
Adaptable To: The new 159-1610 Transmission Electronic Control Module is a direct replacement for the former 136-1688, 126-6648, 124-0499, 121-3412, and 112-5149 Control Groups. The 159-1610 Transmission Electronic Control Module is applicable to all machines listed above except the 950F Series II and the 960F. The 950F Series II and the 960F use the new 159-1612 Autoshift Control, which is a direct replacement for the former 147-7751, 136-1685, and 114-2876 Control Groups.
