Accidental machine starting can cause injury or death to personnel working on the machine. To avoid accidental machine starting, turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position and remove the key. If the machine is not equipped with a battery disconnect switch, disconnect the battery cables from the battery and tape the battery clamps. Place a do not operate tag at the battery disconnect switch location to inform personnel that the machine is being worked on. |
Personal injury can result from rotating and moving parts. Stay clear of all rotating and moving parts. Never attempt adjustments while the machine is moving or the engine is running unless otherwise specified. The machine must be parked on a level surface and the engine stopped. |

When you change the disc saw teeth or holders, always replace the used bolts with new bolts. Use extreme cleanliness and properly torque the bolts upon installation. Failure to ensure cleanliness and to properly torque the bolts may result in machine damage. |

- Remove the four bolts and the nuts from the transport guard. Remove the transport guard.
- Remove two bolts (2) from tooth holder (4).

- Use the sleeve remover to remove sleeve nut (5).

- Remove sleeve head (3) .
- Remove tooth holder (4) from disc saw (1).

- Install tooth holder (4) onto disc saw (1) .

- Coat sleeve head (3) and sleeve nut (5) with 4C-4032 Bearing Mount Compound. Install sleeve head (3) and sleeve nut (5) into tooth holder (4).

- Coat threads of bolt (2) with 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound. Install bolt (2) through sleeve head (3) and into sleeve nut (5). Tighten bolt (2) to a torque of 170 ± 20 N·m (125 ± 15.0 lb ft).
