(1) Assemble the sleeve flush with the face of the cylinder block.
(2) Length of the two bolts ... 66.68 mm (2.625 inch)
(3) The rear gasket face of the cylinder block and the matching gear housing assembly surface must be clean and free of contaminants. Apply 5 mL (0.17 fl oz) of Loctite High Flex GM continuously on the rear gasket face of the cylinder block.
(4) The front of the flywheel housing assembly and the matching gear housing assembly surface must be clean and free of contaminants. Apply 6 mL (0.203 fl oz) of Loctite High Flex GM continuously on the front flywheel housing assembly gasket face.
Note: Assembly of the flywheel housing assembly and the gear housing assembly to the cylinder block must be completed within 20 minutes of sealant application.
(5) Length of the two bolts ... 31.75 mm (1.250 inch)
(6) Apply Loctite 271 to the threads of the plug prior to assembly. Install the plug below the surface by ... 1.3 ± 0.5 mm (0.05 ± 0.02 inch)
