Conditions Which Generate This Code:
The Electronic Control Module (ECM) reads signal voltage that is greater than 4.8 VDC for .24 seconds. The ECM has been powered for two seconds.
System Response:
The code is logged.
If the engine is equipped with a fan clutch, the fan clutch will engage fully.
Test Step 1. Perform the following test: Engine Sensor Open/Short Test
Results:
- OK - Stop.
- REPAIRED, OK - Stop.
