Caterpillar Hose and Coupling Practices {0618, 1000, 5057, 7000}

Caterpillar shipped some machines with hydraulic hose assemblies that use non-Caterpillar hydraulic couplings. Caterpillar hose was used. These hose assemblies were manufactured in order to meet the requirements of Caterpillar. If there is damage to the non-Caterpillar hose assemblies, the following will apply. Replace hose assemblies with Caterpillar hoses and Caterpillar couplings. Do not reuse the non-Caterpillar hose couplings.
Caterpillar cannot guarantee the safety or the performance of any hose coupling interface that uses other couplings on a Caterpillar hose produced outside of the manufacturing facility.
