Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the valve mechanism group. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Valve Mechanism - Remove".

Note: Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "General Information (Reference Material)" for more information.

1. Remove bolts (2) and the washers from rocker arm shaft (1) .

2. Use a paint stick to put identification marks on all of the components for assembly purposes.

3. Remove the bolts and plate (4) from one end of rocker arm shaft (1) .

4. Remove rocker arms (3) from rocker arm shaft (1) .

Note: O-ring seals hold buttons (5) in place on the rocker arms.

5. Remove buttons (5). Remove the O-ring seal from buttons (5) .
