New fuel tanks are available for the replacement of the former fuel tanks on the machines that are listed. The new part numbers and the former part numbers are listed in Table 1. Install a new fuel tank, if the welds crack on the former fuel tank in the field.

The affected welds are located on the plates that support the step. The welds for the bottom seam and the side seam on the tank are also affected.

The weld on the plates that support the step is improved on the new fuel tanks. The thickness of the plates is increased on the new tanks. The improved welds on the new fuel tank increase the durability of the tank.
