Description of Change: New axle groups are used on the 914G Wheel Loaders and on the IT14G Integrated Toolcarriers. Changes have been made to the sun gear and related parts in the brake and planetary group.
Adaptable To: The new 237-9220 Fixed Axle Arrangement (FRONT) (STANDARD DIFFERENTIAL) supersedes the former 151-6328 Fixed Axle Arrangement (FRONT) (STANDARD DIFFERENTIAL). The new 237-9222 Fixed Axle Arrangement (FRONT) (LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL) supersedes the former 151-6335 Fixed Axle Arrangement (FRONT) (LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL). The new 237-9219 Oscillating Axle Arrangement (REAR) (STANDARD DIFFERENTIAL) supersedes the former 151-6336 Oscillating Axle Arrangement (REAR, STANDARD DIFFERENTIAL). The new 237-9221 Oscillating Axle Arrangement (REAR) (LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL) supersedes the former 151-6337 Oscillating Axle Arrangement (REAR) (LIMITED SLIP DIFFERENTIAL).
The new axle arrangements contain the new 236-1869 Sun Gear. The new sun gear has 28 teeth. The former sun gear in the former axle assemblies had 24 teeth.
The new 237-9219 Oscillating Axle Arrangement and the 237-9220 Fixed Axle Arrangement axles became effective in production with the following machines: (S/N: PDF390-UP), (S/N: FWL315-UP) and (S/N: KZN415-UP)
The new 237-9221 Oscillating Axle Arrangement and the 237-9222 Fixed Axle Arrangement axles became effective in production with the following machines: (S/N: PDF459-UP), (S/N: FWL334-UP) and (S/N: KZN435-UP)

The new axles will be phased into production. When you repair a machine, check the part number of the axle that is cast in the axle in the location of the arrow.
