在正常运转过程中,沉积物形成在喷嘴和涡轮叶轮的叶片上。 沉积物能降低涡轮增压器的效率和性能。

清洗将有助于减少沉积物。 清洗过程会去除固结不稳的沉积物。 恶劣工作条件的应用类型需要更频繁的清洗。 关于特定应用类型定期维护保养方面的知识,请咨询卡特彼勒代理商。

    注: 多做几份表1以备以后使用。

  1. 清洗涡轮增压器之前,在表 1 相应的空格中记录有关发动机性能的数据。 将该数据与发动机试车时的数据进行对比。 如果数据相似,则可能不需要清洗涡轮增压器。

    如果不需要清洗,记录新数据并与 25 个工时数后的数据进行对比。

    如果需要清洗,跳转到步骤 2。

  2. 根据专门说明书, SEHS9929, "涡轮增压器水洗步骤"清洗涡轮增压器。

  3. 以清洗步骤之前所用的负载和转速运转发动机。 在表 1 相应的空格中记录有关发动机性能的数据。

  4. 将“前”“后”两次的数据进行对比。 同时,将该数据与发动机试车时的数据进行对比。

    排气歧管压力、排气口温度和进气歧管空气压力的范围正常能指示出涡轮增压器的有效运行。

    如果在这次清洗后涡轮增压器不能以正常效率工作,则涡轮增压器可能需要拆解,以进行彻底的机械清洁。
