When reporting the repair, use "PS42991" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

PROBLEM
The existing fan drive bearings can fail on certain 773F and 775F Off-Highway Trucks. If the existing fan drive bearings fail it can cause engine vibration, excessive noise, or may damage the fan drive shroud. |

Install the 4W1203 Cup into the 3446159 Hub using the 1P0510 Driver. (Image 1.2.1) Ensure that cup is fully seated in hub. Place the 4W1204 Bearing into the hub (Image 1.2.2) and then install the 5S2106 Lip Seal using a 1P0510 Driver (Image 1.2.3). Note: Use suitable bearing packer to pack bearing with grease prior to assembly. |

Install the 6Y2737 Cup into the hub assembly using a 1P0510 Driver (Image 1.3.1). Ensure that the cup is fully seated in the Hub. |

Install the 5S9062 Spacer to fan drive shaft (Image 1.4.1). |

Assemble the shim and hub to the fan drive pulley (Image 1.5.1). |

Assemble the pulley, hub, and shim from the previous step to the fan drive shaft and then install the 3459170 Spacer to the shaft (Image 1.6.1). Fill the cavity with 2S3230 Grease. |

Assemble the 6Y2736 Bearing to the fan drive shaft (Image 1.7.1). Assemble the 308-1528 Bolt and 2838493 Retaining Plate to the fan drive shaft (Image 1.7.2). Note: Use a suitable bearing packer to pack the bearing with grease prior to assembly. Note: Apply Blue Loctite 242 to the threads prior to assembly then tighten to a torque of 55 Nm. |

Fill the cavity in the 283-7316 Adapter with 2S3230 Grease to reference line (Image 1.8.1). Install Fan Drive per Media RENR8278. |
