The circuit breaker panel is located in the cab. The circuit breaker protects the electrical system from damage caused by circuit overload.
Circuit breaker - Push in the button to reset the circuit breaker. If the electrical system is working properly, the button will remain depressed. If the button does not remain depressed, check the appropriate electrical circuit. Repair the electrical circuit, if necessary. |

(1) 15 amp - Caterpillar Monitoring System, gauge lights.
(2) 15 amp - Remote control system (if equipped).
(3) 15 amp - Autodig control. (if equipped)
(4) 15 amp - Bucket positioner, attachment (if equipped), loadrite (if equipped), auto lubrication indicator, payload control system.
(5) 15 amp - ECM, diagnostic connector, ET service connector.
(6) 30 amp - Air conditioning (if equipped).
(7) 15 amp - Automatic lubrication system (if equipped), horn.
(8) 15 amp - Residual brake pressure indicator (if equipped), stop light (if equipped), wipers/washers (if equipped), backup alarm, cassette player (if equipped), dash panel lights.
(9) 15 amp - Electronic transmission control.
(10) 15 amp - Parking brake control.
(11) 15 amp - Key start switch, ECM, idle timer/fire suppression control unit (if equipped).
(12) 15 amp - Cassette player (if equipped), interior light (if equipped).
(13) 30 amp - Right side lights, cab rear flood light.
(14) 30 amp - Left side lights, tail light (if equipped), cab lower flood light.
(15) 80 amp - Main.
(16) 80 amp - Alternator.
Each circuit breaker has a specified current rating, depending on the system requirements. If an overload occurs on a system, the circuit breaker will activate, power will not be supplied to the system until the circuit breaker has been reset. If the circuit breaker activates again a fault is present in the related electrical system.
