Mirrors have been Added to the Cold Planer{7319} Caterpillar

PM-565B (S/N: 8GS1-UP)

Introduction

A new 218-0258 Rear View Mirror Gp is being added to the PM-565 Cold Planer.

1. Use dimension (A), (B) and (C) in order to mark the locations of the 213-4463 Plates . Refer to Illustration 1.

2. Attach the two 213-4463 Plates (1) to the 217-0917 Arm As (2). Refer to Table 2 and Illustration 3.

3. Position the 217-0917 Arm As (2) with the 213-4463 Plates (1) at the locations that were measured in Step 1.

   Note: The 217-0917 Arm As should be in a Vertical position. If necessary, use a level in order to position the 217-0917 Arm As .

4. Tack weld the 213-4463 Plates in position.

5. Remove the 217-0917 Arm As from the 213-4463 Plates .

6. Finish weld the 213-4463 Plates .

7. Paint the 213-4463 Plates .

8. Install the 216-8239 Film (10). Refer to Illustration 4.

9. Assemble the 217-0917 Arm As and the 215-4809 Convex Mirror . Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the threads on the 217-9968 Clutch-Detent . Refer to Step 2.

10. Repeat Step 1 through Step 9 for the opposite side of the machine.

11. Install the 081-6961 Film (11) on the rear of the machine.
