Cut-in pressure setting ... 22060 ± 345 kPa (3200 ± 50 psi)

Cut-out pressure setting ... 24130 ± 345 kPa (3500 ± 50 psi)

(1) Plug

Installation torque ... 35 ± 3 N·m (26 ± 2 lb ft)

(2) Plug

Installation torque ... 5 ± 0.75 N·m (44 ± 7 lb in)

Note: Apply 154-9731 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of plug (2) before you insert plug (2) into plug (1). Wait for two hours before you insert plug (1) into the cartridge.

(3) Use a small amount of the lubricant that is being sealed to lubricate the seals.

(4) Torque for the setscrew on the stem

Installation torque ... 2.25 ± 0.25 N·m (20 ± 2 lb in)

Note: Apply 154-9731 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of setscrew (4) before you insert setscrew (4) into the stem. Wait for two hours before you insert the stem into the pilot valve.

(5) 102-1500 Spring

(7) Torque for two adjuster assemblies ... 125 ± 10 N·m (92 ± 7 lb ft)

(8) Torque for two locknuts ... 50 ± 7 N·m (37 ± 5 lb ft)

Note: Tighten the locknuts after the accumulator charging valve has been adjusted. See the Steering System Testing and Adjusting, "Piston Pump (Steering) Pressure - Test and Adjust" for the procedure.

(9) 5J-2722 Shim
