TK1051 Track Feller Buncher Caterpillar

This machine is equipped with a hydraulically controlled hood. A tilt lever is used to control the operation of the hood.

The tilt lever that controls the hood is located behind an access door on the right side of the machine.

Open hood - Pull the lever toward you in order to open the hood.

Close Hood - Push the lever away from you in order to close the hood.

Manual Operation

If the machine has an electrical problem, a hand pump is equipped on the machine so that the hood can be operated.

The hand pump that controls the hood is located behind an access door on the right side of the machine.

Move lever (2) downward in order to open access door (1).

Insert handle (6) onto hand pump (7). The handle is located inside access door (1).

Open Hood (3) - Move lever (5) left in order to open the hood.

Close Hood (4) - Move lever (5) right in order to close the hood.

Use the following procedure in order to operate hand pump (7) .

1. Move lever (5) to the appropriate direction.

2. Pump handle (6) until the hood is tilted to the desired position.

3. Move lever (5) to the neutral position.
