  1. Connect the spraydown hose to the fuel line connection.

With each use, the fuel spray hose will need to be connected or disconnected. If the machine is equipped with a hose reel, open the access cover on the right side of the machine. Pull out the necessary amount of hose.

Move the fuel pump switch forward to the SPRAYDOWN position.

  1. Pull the trigger in order to start the spraydown. Release the trigger in order to stop the spraydown.

  1. Clean any part of the machine that comes in contact with the asphalt. Clean the entire length of conveyor drive chains and slats on the paver push roller and the drag conveyors. Spray the entire length of the drag conveyor. Spray the entire auger conveyor in order to clean the auger. Spray the auger in order to lubricate the auger. Clean the front of the screed and the bottom of the screed.

    ------ WARNING! ------

The screed could fall. In order to avoid possible personal injury, extend the screed travel locks whenever the screed is raised.

    ----------------------

  1. Disconnect the spraydown hose when machine cleanup is complete. If the machine is equipped with a hose reel, return the spraydown hose to the side compartment. Close and secure the access cover.

  1. Turn off the fuel pump.
