Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the parking brake. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Parking Brake - Remove". The information is in this manual.

1. Remove hydraulic adapter (2) from hydraulic adapter (3). Remove hydraulic adapter (3) from cover (1). Remove access plug (4) from cover (1).

2. Remove the O-ring seals from hydraulic adapter (2), hydraulic adapter (3) and access plug (4).

3. Use Tooling (A) in order to remove retaining ring (5) that secures spring discs (6) to cover (1).

4. Note the orientation of spring discs (6) for assembly purposes. Remove the spring discs from cover (1).

5. Remove internal seal ring (8) and external seal ring (9) from clutch piston (7).
