Note: There are two disconnect switches on this machine: a battery disconnect switch and a secondary disconnect switch. The battery disconnect switch is the lower left switch.

ON - Turn the battery disconnect switch clockwise to position (B) in order to activate the electrical system. The switch must be in this position before you start the engine.

OFF - Turn the battery disconnect switch counterclockwise to position (A) in order to deactivate the entire electrical system. This includes the preheat system.

The battery disconnect switch and the engine start switch perform different functions. Turning off the battery disconnect switch disables the entire electrical system. When you only turn off the engine start switch, the battery remains connected to the electrical system.

Turn off the battery disconnect switch and remove the key when you service the electrical system or any other machine components.

Note: Turning off the battery disconnect switch will erase the settings in the preheat system. The settings must be programmed again.

Note: Turning off the battery disconnect switch will disconnect the ground of the battery.

Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position and remove the key when the machine will not be used for an extended period of time. This will help to prevent drainage of the battery.
