The manual shutoff valves are located on the rear of the front frame.

(1) Manual drain valve

(2) Manual shutoff valve

  1. Stop the machine on a hard level surface. Move the transmission control to the neutral position. Block the trailer wheels and disengage the parking brake.

  1. Stop the engine and install the steering frame locks.

  1. Make sure that manual drain valve (1) is closed. Make sure that manual shutoff valve (2) is closed.

  1. Open shutoff valve (2) and check if the suspension lowers. If the suspension lowers, drain valve (1) is leaking. Replace drain valve (1) .

  1. Close drain valve (1). Close shutoff valve (2) .

  1. Open drain valve (1) and check if the suspension lowers. If the suspension lowers, shutoff valve (2) is leaking. Replace shutoff valve (2) .

Note: If a shutoff valve will be replaced, lower the suspension. See Testing and Adjusting, "Suspension Height (Front) - Adjust".

  1. Raise the suspension so that the ride height is within the specification. See Testing and Adjusting, "Suspension Height (Front) - Adjust".

  1. Engage the parking brake. Remove the steering frame locks and remove the wheel blocks.
