Transmission Control (Select Lever) - Remove and Install
Removal Procedure
- Remove top (1) of the transmission selector lever.

- Remove eight screws (2) .

- Remove rear panel assembly (3) .
- Reposition the front panel assembly in order to access the connections that are located on the underside of the front panel.

- Disconnect electrical connection (7) .
- Remove three screws (5) and three washers (6) .
- Remove transmission control (4) .
Installation Procedure
- Install transmission control (4) .

- Install three washers (6) and three screws (5) .
Note: During the installation of transmission control (4), center the transmission control in the position for FOURTH gear.
- Connect electrical connection (7) .
- Position the front panel assembly.
- Install rear panel assembly (3) .

- Install eight screws (2) .
Note: During installation, tighten the screws to a torque of 9 ± 3 N·m (6.6 ± 2.2 lb ft).
- Install top (1) of the transmission selector lever.
