Hoist and Brake Tank Oil Level - Check
Check the oil in the hoist and brake tank. Check the oil level with the dump body in the lowered position. Make sure that the engine is stopped.

- Check the oil level in the upper sight gauge. If the oil is cold, the oil level must be to the "FULL COLD" mark on the sight gauge.
If the oil is at the operating temperature, the oil must be to the "FULL WARM" mark on the sight gauge.
- If the oil level must be checked with raised hoist cylinders, use the lower sight gauge.
- If necessary, add oil. If the system has been drained, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hoist and Brake Tank Oil - Change" for the proper procedure.
