Transmission Oil Pump - Install

Usage:

980G 2KR

Installation Procedure

  1. Check the condition of the O-ring seals that are used in the hose and tube assemblies. If the seals are worn or damaged, use new parts for replacement.

  1. Connect coupling (12) and brake pump (11) to the transmission oil pump.

  1. Install two bolts (10) that fasten the brake pump to the transmission oil pump. The combined weight of the brake and transmission oil pump is 23 kg (50 lb).

  1. Lift the transmission oil pump with a suitable sling and a hoist. Install coupling (9) to the transmission oil pump.

  1. Connect coupling (9) and the transmission oil pump to steering pump (8) .

  1. Install two washers and bolts (7) .

  1. Connect tube assembly (6) to the transmission oil pump.

  1. Connect hose assemblies (5) and (4) to the transmission oil pump.

  1. Connect tube assembly (3) to brake pump (2) .

  1. Connect hose assembly (1) to brake pump (2) .

  1. Fill the hydraulic oil tank to the correct level. For the correct filling procedure, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the machine that is being serviced.

  1. Fill the transmission to the correct level. For the correct filling procedure, refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the machine that is being serviced.

End By: Install the cab. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
