Fan Guard - Remove and Install

Usage:

D250E II 4PS

Removal Procedure

  1. Open the engine hood.

  1. Disconnect tube (3) from the ether cylinder.

  1. Remove bolts (1) that secure fan guards (2) to the radiator. Remove fan guards (2) from the radiator.

Installation Procedure

  1. Inspect all parts and clean all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.

  1. Position fan guards (2) to the radiator. Install bolts (1) that secure fan guards (2) to the radiator.

  1. Connect tube (3) to the ether cylinder.

  1. Close the engine hood.
