Each implement control valve has a pair of quick couplers. The quick couplers are self-sealing. Also, the couplers are prepared for an implement breakaway. When an implement becomes disconnected from the machine, the implement hoses are disconnected from the quick couplers.

Couplers (1) are pressurized when the implement control lever is in the EXTEND position. Couplers (2) are pressurized when the implement control lever is in the RETRACT position. Dust caps limit the amount of dirt that enters the couplers.
Connecting Implement Hoses to the Quick Couplers
The couplers will accept ISO standard connectors. The standard connectors should be 1/2 inch. Use the following procedure in order to connect implement hoses to the implement control valve.
Note: Mating connectors are available from any CLAAS dealer.
- Lower the implement to the ground.

- Move the implement control lever to the HOLD position or move the implement control lever to the FLOAT position.

- Rotate the dust cap upward in order to access the quick coupler.

Always wipe the inside the coupler and the outside of the connector tip clean with a clean, lint-free cloth prior to completing the connection. Failure to do so will reduce the life of the quick coupler and contaminate the oil in the implement circuit. |

- Wipe the inside of the coupler and the outside of the tip on the implement hose. Make sure that both surfaces are clean.

- Push lever (3) all the way downward in order to release any hydraulic pressure. After lever (3) has been actuated, you may release the lever.
- Firmly, push the hose into coupler (4) .
Disconnecting the Implement Hoses from the Quick Coupler
Use the following procedure in order to disconnect the implement hoses from the quick coupler.
- Lower the implement to the ground.

- Push lever (3) all the way downward in order to release any hydraulic pressure.
- While you hold down lever (3), pull the hose from coupler (4) .
