Removal Procedure

In order to prevent possible personal injury, release the air pressure from the air tank before disconnecting any components of the air system.

Note: Refer to the Parts Manual for the repair kit that is available.

1. Release the air pressure from the air tank.

2. Disconnect hose assembly (1) from the air horn valve.

3. Remove two bolts (3) and the two washers. Remove air horn (4).

4. Remove hose assembly (1) from elbow (2).

5. If necessary, remove elbow (2).

Installation Procedure

Note: Before installation, apply 5P-3413 Pipe Sealant to the external tapered threads.

1. If elbow (2) was removed, install elbow (2).

2. Install hose assembly (1) on elbow (2).

3. Install air horn (4). Install the two washers and two bolts (3).

4. Connect hose assembly (1) to the air horn valve.
