Boom Control

Lower (1) - Move the boom control lever to this position in order to lower the boom. As you move the boom control lever closer to LOWER position (1) , the boom lowers faster. As you move the boom control lever closer to HOLD position (2) , the boom lowers at a slower speed. When the boom control lever is released, the boom control lever returns to HOLD position (2) . The boom will remain in place.


Hold (2) - The boom control lever will return to HOLD position (2) when the boom control lever is released from either RAISE position (3) or from LOWER position (1) . The boom will remain in place.


Raise (3) - Pull the boom control lever back to this position in order to raise the boom. As you move the boom control lever closer to RAISE position (3) , the boom raises faster. As you move the boom control lever closer to HOLD position (2) , the boom raises at a slower speed. When the boom control lever is released, the boom control lever returns to HOLD position (2) . The boom will remain in place.

Note: When the boom is raised, make sure that the boom does not bend toward the operator. If the boom bends toward the operator, stop. Inspect the kickout valve for the boom. Make any necessary repairs before operating the boom.

Boom And Hook Hold Lock

Boom Hold Locked and Hook Hold Locked - Move the boom control lever to HOLD position (2) . Move the lever for the boom hold lock and hook hold lock forward to the lock position in order to lock the control levers in HOLD. Lock the boom and the hook control levers in HOLD in order to prevent accidental boom movement or hook movement.


Boom Hold Unlocked and Hook Hold Unlocked - Move the boom lock lever rearward to the unlocked position in order to unlock the boom control lever and the hook control lever from HOLD. This position will allow movement of the boom and the hook.
