Tire and Rim (Front) - Remove and Install

Start By:
- Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".
- Remove five bolts (1). Use two persons to remove fender (2). The weight of fender (2) is approximately 27 kg (60 lb).

- Use Tooling (A) to lift the machine. Support the machine with Tooling (B) .

- Use suitable lifting slings and a hoist to support the tire and the rim, as shown. Remove bolts (3). Remove the tire and the rim as a unit. The combined weight of the tire and of the rim is approximately 500 kg (1100 lb).

- Use suitable lifting slings and a hoist to position the tire and the rim, as shown. The combined weight of the tire and of the rim is approximately 500 kg (1100 lb).

- Install bolts (3). The initial torque for bolts (3) is 570 ± 80 N·m (420 ± 60 lb ft). Then turn bolts (3) by an additional 60 ± 5 degrees.
- Use Tooling (A) to lift the machine. Remove Tooling (B) .
