OFF (1) - When you insert the engine start switch key and when you remove the engine start switch key, the engine start switch must be in the OFF position. To disconnect the power to the electrical circuits in the cab, turn the engine start switch to the OFF position. Also, turn the engine start switch to the OFF position in order to stop the engine.

ON (2) - To activate the electrical circuits in the cab, turn the engine start switch key clockwise to the ON position.

START (3) - To start the engine, turn the engine start switch clockwise to the START position. When the engine start switch key is released, the engine start switch will return to the ON position.

Note: If the engine fails to start, return the engine start switch to the OFF position. This must be done before you attempt to start the engine again.
