Usage:
CS-433C (3TM1-UP),
CS-431C (9XL1-UP) VIBRATORY SOIL COMPACTOR
Problem:
Some compactors may have cracked ROPS posts.
Solution:
Inspect the entire ROPS on listed machines for cracks. Pay special attention to the ROPS support tubes in the figure. Closely inspect for hairline cracks around the entire circumference of both vertical support tubes. Inspect for loose ROPS installation hardware.
Replace all cracked ROPS. If a cracked ROPS is found, measure and record drum vibratory speed (vpm). If vibratory speed is not within specifications (1875±75vpm) repair the vibratory system.
If loose fasteners are found and no cracks are evident on the ROPS, replace the loose fasteners with new fasteners. Contact CPPI Product Support Staff (Phone 763-493-1449, 763-493-1344, 763-493-1343 for instructions on how to return defective ROPS and to report recorded vibratory speed.
