--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------

Description of Change: The main fuel tank has been improved. The plate thickness is increased, the plates have more gradual bends, the transfer hose connection is moved to the center, and the front support is a separate "strap-on" design instead of a weld-on design. The improvements lower the stress in the fuel tank during operation and increases fuel tank life.

Adaptable To: The improved 170-0000 Fuel Tank replaces the 109-3224 Fuel Tank, and is effective with Challenger 35 (8RD72, ADK368), Challenger 45 (ABF113, 3BK368), and Challenger 55 (6NN150, AEN423, 436-Up) Agricultural Tractors.

The improved tank may be retrofitted to all earlier Challenger Rowcrop Tractors, using the additional parts listed in the table below. The new parts must be installed as a group.
