Exhaust Manifold Shield

Usage:

Remove Exhaust Manifold Shield (D330C & D333C Marine Engines)

1. Remove the coolant from the engine cooling system.

2. Remove six bolts (1).

3. Remove fuel injection lines (3). Put caps on all openings.

4. Disconnect water inlet line (2) for manifold shield.

5. Remove water outlet line (5) for manifold shield.

6. Remove two bolts (6).

7. Remove the exhaust manifold shield (4).

Install Exhaust Manifold Shield (D330C & D333C Marine Engines)

1. Install exhaust manifold shield with two bolts.

2. Install the water outlet line for the manifold shield.

3. Connect the water inlet line for the manifold shield.

4. Install the remainder of the bolts for the exhaust manifold shield.

5. Remove all caps from the fuel injection line openings. Install fuel injection lines. Tighten fuel line nuts to a torque of 30 ± 5 lb.ft. (4.1 ± 0.7 mkg).

6. Fill the engine cooling system with coolant to the correct level.
