Special Instruction; REHS0078-01; "Retrofit Procedure For Spring Operated Exhaust Diverter" is available through normal literature ordering channels.

This special instruction contains the necessary procedures and information for upgrading to the air operated exhaust diverter on trucks equipped with the former spring operated exhaust diverter.

NOTE: To complete the spring operated exhaust diverter retrofit procedure, 777A (84A01284-Up) and 777B (4YC1-450) Off-Highway Trucks must be equipped with both EPTC-II transmission control retrofit and 3Z-5431 Transmission Control Group (Body Up-Shift Limit). 777B (4YC450-Up) and 777C (4XJ1-Up) Off-Highway Trucks must be equipped with 3Z-5431 Transmission Control Group (Body Up-Shift Limit).
