Description of Change: The supplier has improved manufacturing processes which result in an improved speed sensor group.
Adaptable To: The improved 3E-6955 Speed Sensor Group was effective at the supplier on June 30, 1996. The date code of the improvement is applied on the outside of the 3E-6955 Speed Sensor Group in a "NUMERALKOD" format. The format uses letters to represent the date code. Starting at the left of "NUMERALKOD", the letter "N" represents a 0 and continuing to the right, each letter represents an increased number until the last letter "D" represents a "9". Chart A shows the letter to number conversion. The date code is in a DD/MM/YY format. See Chart B for the partial effectivity list for the improved 3E-6955 Speed Sensor Group.
As an example, date code "ENNLDL" would represent a date code of 30 June 96 (EN = 30, NL = 6th month or June, and DL = Year 96).
