UNDERCARRIAGE FOR NEW 5110B EXCAVATOR
Caterpillar recently announced the introduction of the 5110B Excavator (Mass Excavator) with a track pitch of 10.25 inches (260.4 mm), using common standard links (9W5933/34) as on the D10 Track Type Tractor. The 5110B Excavator classed as a 110 metric ton machine, fits between the 5080 and 5130B Large Mining Machine line-up.

Refer to Attachment II for wear charts. Select undercarriage code C665 in CTS version 5.0.
Below is the method of measuring percent worn of the 5110 Excavator one piece cast sprocket, by measuring individual tooth sprocket thickness.
? Measure sprocket tooth thickness length ?X? perpendicular to Surface A, in area between 35 mm (1.4 inch) and 50 mm (2.0 inch) from sprocket outer diameter, record smallest measurement.
? Refer to Attachment II sprocket wear chart to determine percent worn.
