784B TRACTOR AND 785B OFF-HIGHWAY TRUCK POWER TRAIN Caterpillar

1. Disconnect hose (3) from inlet relief valve (1).

2. Remove three bolts and washers (2), and remove inlet relief valve (1) from the torque converter.

3. Remove the two O-ring seals from the inlet relief valve.

NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the torque converter inlet relief valve.

4. Put the two O-ring seals in position on the inlet relief valve.

5. Put inlet relief valve (1) in position on the torque converter, and install three bolts and washers (2) to hold it.

6. Connect hose (3) to inlet relief valve (1).
